With the launch of the film Kung Fu Panda 3, DreamWorks Animation teamed up WWF-Canada’s Schools for a Living Planet program to bring you the power of two pandas. In Kung Fu Panda 3, Po the panda finds his secret panda village is under threat. WWF works to protect endangered species like the panda by conserving the places they live.

Panda poster challenge

We invited elementary students to design a conservation poster capturing their love of the forests, rivers, oceans and wildlife that WWF works to protect. Teachers integrated the Panda Poster Challenge into their science lessons, engaging their students to think about endangered species, our impact on the environment and what that means for their future. From across the country, imaginative elementary students rolled up their sleeves and took to paper with their paints, brushes and ideas. And the results were inspiring — all 440 of them.

A panel of WWF and DreamWorks Animation judges were impressed by the creativity and inspirational messages from the young artists.  

Congratulations to our grand prize winner

A winning poster has been chosen for a grand prize of an exclusive private screening of Kung Fu Panda 3 for their class, DVDs of the first two Kung Fu Panda films for each student and a WWF classroom adoption kit.
